ZTE Geek U988S to Ride China Mobile

China Mobile will soon start offering the ZTE Geek U988s. If you would remember, we have seen a bunch of pictures of the device sometime last week and they indeed promised some awesome specs.

Now that the device has started moving towards China Mobile network, we need to take note of what all features it would carry along.

At first look, we understand that the ZTE Geek U988S could probably claim to be the world’s first smartphone powered by the new NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor.

This apart, the rig will hide under the hood a 1.8GHz Tegra 4 processor and will come with 2GB of RAM. A 5 inch full HD display of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution is also part of the device.

The U988S will carry two snappers – one front and the other rear facing. The 8 megapixel camera for photos and video is placed on the rear, while the 2 megapixel camera for video calls finds its place at the front end. The device also comes with a microSD card slot.

The company is yet to reveal whether it would want to sell the device in the US and European markets.
