Why Would You Want a Samsung Galaxy S III Mini?

When Samsung released its Galaxy S III, some customers found it too big to handle though it came with excellent features. That seems to be why the company has now decided to launch a mini version of Samsung Galaxy S III. A few carriers have started putting the device for pre-order already.

Though the new device is small and light weight, it holds all the crucial features of Galaxy S III original. This new mini version has a reduced size, but looks exactly similar to the full sized Galaxy S III.

The display profile reads a resolution of 480×800. The 4 inch display touting device with Super AMOLED display lacks the high definition feel but works fine.

Like its big brother, this device has two cameras. You will find a 5 megapixel rear camera that is capable recording 720p with feature such as LED flash, where as the front camera sports VGA resolution.

Samsung will be launching the device with two memory options – an 8GB version and a 16GB version. The device holds chances for memory expansion up to 32 GB via a microSD card slot.

On the connectivity front, you can find Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n and NFC options. The device houses a 1 GHz dual core processor along with a 1 GB of RAM.

The good news about Galaxy S III mini is that it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box. That’s excellent, considering the fact that Galaxy S III s’ first version is still waiting for the update.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini price will be around £300 in the UK market and around $350 in the US.

Though Samsung hasn’t officially announced the release date, rumors suggest a November release. Do you want to give it a go?
