Twitter App for Google Glass Could be a Reality

Lots of talk have been on for quite a while regarding the advent of Google Glass. But then grapevine buzz aside, we needn’t wait for the device to come unto us this year. Google’s Eric Schmidt had earlier said that the market will be getting the Glass sometime in 2014. This year developers will be given the Glass to experiment their apps on it.

That said, Twitter seems to have an app already developed for the Glass. A picture we stumbled upon reveals the “beta testing of official Twitter for Glass app”.

If this is for real, the tweet (#throughglass) must have been sent via the so called Twitter for Glass app.

The tweet has however been pulled off the page. A report says that John Doerr, a venture capitalist at Kleiner Perkins, has hinted that the company was actually looking to develop one.

GoogleGlass

If this going to be true, Tweets will be on our eyes and it would only be a matter of seconds to snap a photo and tweet with your voice.

We could expect the developer community out there to come out their own apps for the Google Glass very soon. Stay tuned.
