TELUS Confirms HTC 8X, Windows Phone 8 Device

HTC 8X, the new smartphone device from HTC, has already confirmed by carriers like Rogers and Bell and now TELUS too has confirmed the device.

HTC 8X is the new device from company that runs Windows Phone 8 platform. It has a 4.3 inch super touchscreen with HD 720p (1280×720) resolution with 341ppi.

The touchscreen is covered by ultra-tough Gorilla Glass 2 and the screen produce superior sharpness & clarity plus reduced light reflection.

Under the hood the device is powered by a Qualcomm S4 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8. Along with a 1 GB of RAM the device is available in two storage options, 16 GB or 8 GB.

On the connectivity front the device supports HSPA and NFC. One of the best features about 8X’s is its front camera that features ultra-wide angle lens, large aperture (for better low light image) and 1080p video capture.

Altogether it is the best front camera in industry. The device also has an 8 megapixel rear camera with auto focus, LED flash and BSI sensor.

HTC has also included a dedicated HTC ImageChip for fast focus speed and clearer, sharper shots and a dedicated camera button on the device. This high end device is powered by a 1,800 mAh battery.
