T-Mobile to Roll Out Galaxy Note Only by August 8th

Though it was initially rumored that the Samsung Galaxy Note will be launched on T-Mobile around July 11th, the latest news suggests that the date has been postponed by the carrier to August 8th.

A newly-leaked internal document shows an updated release date for the Note, which is August 8th. It’s unclear why T-Mobile might not want the phone out earlier, as it was all set to launch.

The customers who were interested in buying this in July did become sad after hearing the news.

Other than the Note, this document describes about 2 other unannounced Samsungs set to arrive in early August. The names are given as the Apex Q and the Cacao.

That “Q” is probably indicating that this model is the SGH-T699, which is rumored to be an Android with a hardware QWERTY keyboard and 720p display.

As for the Cacao, there are no expectations what-so-ever and this phone may not be even an Android smartphone.

It is, however, a little disconcerting that the T-Mobile Galaxy Note launch has been moved closer to the rumored launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

Speculations regarding the specs include a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1680 x 1050 resolution, a design similar to the Galaxy S III, a dual-core 1.7 GHz or higher Exynos CPU with 1.5GB of RAM and 4G LTE connectivity for U.S. models.

With newer versions of the same phone coming out, the only factor than can engage the earlier version to keep up is the price and no confirmations regarding that are yet out now.
