T-Mobile Huawei myTouch and myTouch Q Set for August 8 Launch

T-Mobile, after leaking several times in recent months, had finally made its new Huawei myTouch devices official earlier in July.

The devices are set to launch on 8th of August, but it appears that dummy models of the new handsets have already begun appearing in T-Mobile stores.

While some information on the black versions of the myTouch was received when T-Mobile initially introduced them, these pictures of the dummy units gave a peek at those versions as well as the dark red myTouch and white myTouch Q.

The specs for both of the new myTouch phones include a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, and a 1.4GHz processor.

They are both provided with a 5-megapixel rear camera, a second shooter around front. Both the phones are equipped with a1500mAh battery and runs on Android 2.3.

As far as the pricing goes, one can expect it to go on sale for $49.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate for the right to call one of these new myTouch models.

While these devices may not appeal to those looking for a cutting edge device, they could make good options for those looking for an affordable phone.

The myTouch Q also adds a QWERTY-equipped Android phone to a lineup that hasn’t exactly been seen in a lot of those handsets lately.
