Sprint Samsung GalaxyS III to Come to Stores on July 1

The Samsung Galaxy S III from Sprint was supposed to come out last week. But due to supply shortages it had to be pushed further.

The latest on that front is that Sprint has announced that the Galaxy S III will finally hit the retail stores’ shelves on July 1.

For all those who had pre-ordered the 32GB version, the device has already started shipping or will be shipped soon. However, if you want to see the mobile in store before purchasing, you have to wait till July 1.

From July 1, the device will be accessible at all retail stores acrossAmericaand online. The 16GB will be available on two-year contract at Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Telesales, and Web Sales at a price of $199.99.

Meanwhile, you can pick your 32GB variant from Web Sales, Sprint Business Sales and Telesales for a price of $249.99.

The initial date of launch was said to be June 21, but the carrier was forced to postpone it due to the “overwhelming demand”. They are expecting ten million Galaxy S III sales by July end.

Samsung’s most advanced Android Smartphone features a Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM and a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display. The device sports an 8MP camera, Android 4.0, TouchWiz Nature UX, and will be attuned with Sprint’s soon-to-launch LTE network.
