After the success of Samsung’s Galaxy Note every manufacturer has been  trying to bring in a large display device. And it looks like customers are keen to play with 5-inch display devices. Now it’s Sony’s turn to introduce a 5-inch smartphone device .

Until now, Sony Yuga, the mobile device from Sony has been shrouded in mystery, but now folks from Android Schweiz, a German website, have released a bunch of images of this new gorgeous 5 inch smartphone.

It has a 5 inch display with 1794 x 1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood, Sony has included some smart features so as to enable it to  compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note II. At its core, it is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor along with a 2GB RAM and an  Adreno 320 GPU.

Sony Yuga will run on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and it also houses a 12 megapixel rear shooter. The device features a non-removable battery, but Sony has included a micro SD expansion and HDMI mirroring. The back side of the smartphone is made of glass.
