Sony Xperia V Sports Water Resistant Properties

It is a well known fact that Sony is planning to launch three mobile devices named Xperia T, Xperia J and Xperia V. Of them, the Sony Xperia V was unveiled at the IFA 2012. The handset has been built tough and sports water resistant properties.

The Xperia V offers a 4.3-inch HD display panel along with 1280×720 pixels resolution. Like the other latest smartphones, the Xperia V too is pre-installed with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. And, Sony is offering the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the device in the near future.

Other specifications include a 13 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash that features geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, 3D sweep panorama and image stabilization and a VGA front facing camera.

The device is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor and holds a 1 GB of RAM. The inbuilt 8 GB of memory can be expandable up to 32GB via a microSD.

On the connectivity front, the device offers high speed LTE connectivity along with Bluetooth, NFC and USB.

Latest reports suggest that the device will release on December 3, and will be available for pre-order with a price tag of around $650.
