Sony Xperia TX Arrives in Hong Kong

A new device from Sony, the Xperia TX, has released in Asian Market starting fromHong Kong. The device was first unveiled at the IFA in Berlin.

The Sony Xperia TX, with model number LT29i, is almost similar to the Xperia T in hardware and software aspects, except that it sports a smaller battery.

The device comes with a 4.6 inch 720p HD Reality display with Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2. It is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Krait CPU and holds Adreno 225 GPU.

Under the hood, it supports a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory that is expandable using a microSD slot.

On the connectivity front, the device supports Wi-Fi b/g/n, 42 mbps HSPA, Bluetooth 3.1 and NFC.

Sony has provided two cameras – a 13 megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

The device is preloaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that is upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes with a1750 mAh removable battery.

Sony has fixed the price of XperiaTXhttp://www.androidcentral.com/sony-xperia-tx-launches-hong-kong at $606 and you can chose from three color options, such as pink, black and white.

Well, Xperia T and TX are very similar handsets therefore Sony has no plans to release both the devices in the same market.
