Samsung to Launch Two Big-Screen Handsets with 5.8 and 6.3 Inch Display

Last month, Samsung unveiled its fourth generation Galaxy S4 smartphone in New York City and the device will start shipping by the end of this month.

Rumors have now emerged that the company is  already planning to introduce two more smartphones devices with big screens by the end of this year. With its recent big handset releases, it is clear that Samsung is focusing on huge screen devices.

According to SamMobile, the South Korean tech giant will introduce two more smartphones named Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3. The devices have code-named as GT-19152 and GT-19200 respectively.

As their name suggests, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 comes with a 5.8-inch screen and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will sport a 6.3-inch screen size.

The website also suggested that the new Galaxy Mega 5.8 will have a dual-SIM slot. The handset is expected to release around May. While the second one, the Galaxy Mega 6.3, will arrive by the end of June 2013.

In January, there had been rumors that Samsung will announce a smartphone version by the name Fonblet 5.8. And now it seems that the same product is renamed as Galaxy Mega 5.8.

No more details are available on internal specs of these devices but rumors suggest that both the devices will be mid-range devices.
