Samsung Launches an 8-inch Tablet in India

Seems like Samsung is aiming at increasing its presence in the Indian market. The South Korean electronics giant has now launched an 8-inch tablet, named the Galaxy Note 510, in India, and this tablet will enhance multi-media experience, says Samsung.

It is a 3G-enabled tablet that runs Android Jelly Bean OS and comes with a 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64 GB using a microSD card slot. The tablet is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and priced at Rs 30,900.

The Galaxy Note 510 offers Samsung’s multi-window feature that splits the screen and also allows optimal access to a number of live applications. This tablet is also capable of unlimited note-taking such as memo, diary and must-remember lists.

Samsung has included the S Pen and it need to be just hovered over the screen to watch emails, videos, photos and appointments on the associated S Planner. You don’t need to open the file or application in full.

According to BD Park President and CEO at Samsung Electronics (South West Asia), the Galaxy Note 510 delivers the perfect fusion of portability and productivity, which makes the tablet a pocket-sized solution to enhances everyday lives of its users.
