Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Android Slates Head for India

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 range of Android tablets is landing in India tomorrow. The South Korean company had announced its Galaxy Tab 3 series in London last month, and it seems like the company wants to try and make big gains in the rapidly growing Indian market.

The company was seen teasing images of the tablets ahead of its launch event in Delhi tomorrow. Among the devices lined up are 7, 8 and 10.1-inch Galaxy tablets. But the e-retailers have put up only 7 and 8-inch variants for sale. That means you will have to wait for some more time to grab the 10.1-inch Intel-powered tablet.

The Galaxy 3, 7.0 boasts a 7-inch WSVGA display with screen resolution of 1024×500 pixels and is fueled by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Marvell processor packed with 1 GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and the powerhouse is a 4,000mAh battery. It mounts a 3MP rear snapper and 1.3 MP front snapper. There is an 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded.

Meanwhile, the 8-inch tablet features an 8-inch WXGA TFT display with screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels. If you remember, Galaxy Note 8.0 also features the same but have a stylus functionality.
