Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to be out on May 13th

Some of you have already heard that Samsung is going to launch  a new version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab and have heard plenty of rumors relating to it. One of which is where the Galaxy tab is said to be equipped with quad-core processor but Samsung later confirmed that it is nothing but rumors and that they will only equip the Tablet with a dual-core processor.

The new version of the tablet named Samsung Galaxy 2.10.1 is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and has 16 GB of internal storage.

It has a 10 inch screen at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It comes with 50 GB worth of Dropbox storage for one year. It also comes with a MicroSD card slot, Bluetooth and enhanced speakers.

The device will be out in stores in the 13th of May for a very cheap price of $399. It seems that there isn’t any major change in the new version of the tablet compared to the older version except for the big drop in its price tag.

Samsung is finally using its brain. They now know that it is pointless to act like Apple and instead it’s better to give the people what they need at a very affordable price and that’s exactly what they did.

Will the big decrease in the price tag of the device get it more customers? I think so.
