Samsung Galaxy SIII Sales Touch 20 Million in 100 Days

Samsung Galaxy S III had launched back in May. Now, Samsung has announced that the rig has crossed the 20-million sales mark, which indeed is a huge number. The Galaxy S III crossed this sales mark in just 100 days after its launch.

The device thereby showed three times faster sales than its predecessor Galaxy S and six times faster than the Galaxy S II.

The Galaxy S II had achieved only 5 million sales after 85 days of launch and took about 5 months to touch 10 million. Europe had topped with 6 million Galaxy S III sales, while Asia and the US follow with 4.5 million and 4 million sales respectively.

During the IFA 2012 event, the company has announced its Galaxy Note 2. The expectations are also high for the Galaxy Note 2.

Though chances are that the device may not achieve the same success rate as Galaxy SIII, we expect it must surely beat the Galaxy Note 1 sales.

No doubt, Samsung Galaxy S III is the most successful  mobile phone in the industry and now after seeing its huge sales numbers, Samsung has introduced four new color options for the handset.
