Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Helps Snap Pictures Underwater

Samsung has launched its Galaxy S4 Active as a waterproof version of its current flagship. The device borrows features of the Sony XperiaZR, such as the 8 megapixel  camera that has the capability to function underwater.

This smart device can be used to take snaps underwater up to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. Further, it is dust resistant too.

The new Galaxy S4 Active boasts a 5-inch TFT screen with resolution of 1920x1080p and with pixel density of 441ppi.

The S4 Active runs Android 4.2 Jellybean OS, and boasts TouchWiz UI. The phone comes powered by a 1.9GHz quad-core processor, while internal storage is limited to 16GB. If you would want to go for more, a microSD slot can help expand memory up to 64 GB.

The camera adds an Aqua mode feature so as to help increase visual quality and clarity for enhanced underwater images and video. A volume fitted on the left side acts as a hardware camera key.

More over, it is accessible to 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, USB 2.0 and Infrared connectivity. The power house for this smart device is a 2,600mAh battery. The handset comes in grey, orange and blue colors.
