Samsung Galaxy S3 Verizon Variant to Sport Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Chipset

There have been a couple of rumors floating around that there will be a Verizon version of Samsung Galaxy S3 soon. This version is expected to feature a different processor, unlike the real version of the phone that hides under the hood Samsung’s own Exynos quad-core CPU.

The Verizon version of the phone seems to have a dual-core Qualcomm snapdragon s4 processor, but apart from that, the device seems to have been incorporated with the same features as that of the original Samsung Galaxy S3 handset.

The device is powered by Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich OS and has a 4.6 inch Super AMOLED plus screen with 128 x 720 pixel resolution. It includes a 1.8 GHz chip with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB Internal storage memory. You can record your 1080p videos at 60 fps with the 12 mega pixel camera and a Li-ion 2200 mAh battery.

Another interesting piece of info we have managed to hear is that, it seems Qualcomm silicon chipsets will be used in the US version of the next Samsung Galaxy S3.

If you would recollect, HTC had performed almost the same action with their domestic version of HTC One X as they didn’t use the quad-core Tegra 3 chip in the global version of the phone.

It seems like the US is left out of the whole new mobile technology thing as they are missing out on a lot of quad-cores.
