Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus Images Found in the Wild

Samsung is trying hard to beat the market with their new Galaxy addition. Named Galaxy S2 Plus, the device is now out in the form of pictures. Significantly, the handset looks somewhat similar to a phablet.

The upcoming Galaxy S2 Plus comes with a big 4.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen and features 1GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and an 8-megapixel camera at the back.

The current version of the Galaxy S2 includes a 1.2 GHz Exynos processor. However, the latest version S2 Plus will be powered by a dual core 1.5 GHz Exynos CPU. Samsung is offering the 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android OS in S2 plus.

Though, the available specifications of the device are not as much impressive while considering other smartphones in the current market.

But it is believed that this time, Samsung is targeting the low end and mid-end markets. And that could mean we need to expect an affordable price tag too.

Samsung has already launched a Galaxy S Plus into the market, the upgraded version of Galaxy S.

The device is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) inBarcelona by the end of February 2013. The final release date and pricing details of the S2 Plus are not fixed yet.
