Samsung Galaxy S III US Version to Carry 1.5GHz Dual Core Snapdragon S4 Processor

The Samsung Galaxy SIII is finally coming to the US to cash in on the dazzling pre-release attention it was receiving since its announcement. Samsung has informed that the flagship phone will land this month, but retained from giving any solid dates for the release.

The third edition of the Galaxy S phone will debut via five prominent mobile carriers in theUS, namely – AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular.

We also hear rumors about a likely launch date of 20th of this month. But this could change as different carriers may choose different date for the release, according to their marketing strategies.

But we are more excited about the surprises Samsung Galaxy SIII has saved for the US Customer. Major change will be dismissing the 1.4GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor from its global version for a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4. The quad-core processor was probably ditched due to its reported incompatibility with the LTE network.

But theUSphone buffs may not worry, as Qualcomm’s dual core processor is pretty fast in itself. With 4G LTE support and HSPA+ 42 speeds, this processor can meet your requirements better than the Quadcore. With the latest Android Ice creamSandwichand 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen in the kitty, the phone can anyway be the best buy of this year.

We don’t have any details about the price Galaxy SIII will quote. It can vary with different carriers. However we think it could not go more than $199.99, when you sign up new contract with a carrier.
