Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Vs Apple iPhone5

These days there are strange comparisons happening in the tech world between two popular devices. One is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the other one is Apple’s iPhone 5. Both are different devices, but still a few people like to compare them. They have been compared with respect to features, performance and popularity.

The iPhone 5 has a 1.02GHz dual-core processor and 4-inch display with resolution of 1136 x 640 at 326ppi.

The device comes with 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera and 4G LTE connectivity. Apple’s iPhone5 runs on the company’s new Operating System – the iOS 6 – and it is powered by a 1440mAh battery.

Meanwhile the Galaxy Note 2 has a 1.6GHz quad-core processor with a 5.5-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 and 267ppi. The device houses 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, a 3100mAh battery and runs on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It also supports 4G LTE connectivity,

Though the iPhone 5 has a much smaller 4 inch screen but when compared to the Galaxy Note’s gorgeous 5.5 inch display, its higher pixel density reproduces more clear images than the Note 2.

Comparing the other features like screen size, memory and processor Galaxy Note 2 shows superiority. Another best thing in the Galaxy Note is its 64GB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSD. But the iPhone has no other means of expanding storage capacity.

But in the popularity front of course the iPhone 5 wins. The popularity helps a lot to sell the product and Apple doesn’t need high advertisement to sell their devices.

Apple has a long history of mobile phones with high technology and performance. And for the thousands of users who have owned most iPhone’s, it is hard for them to jump to any other device.

If they choose any another mobile device over Apple then they’ve had enough problems with their Apple device like the recent iOS 6 maps issues in the iPhone5. But still Apple’s customers know that Apple will fix most of their device problems within the time.

While the comparisonbetween the Galaxy Note 2 and Apple iPhone5 is interesting but both of these devices are aiming different markets. Above all Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 is actually a tablet/mobile device where iPhone5 is simply a smartphone.
