Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Heads for Sprint

In spite of the recent excitement over the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, not one US carrier has made an announcement yet about adding the phablet to its lineup.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 might be heading to Sprint at some point later this year, and this is according to a rumor that has started doing the rounds.

So far, it seems that T-Mobile could be getting their own Galaxy Note 2 and according to a post in the XDA Forums, it seems that Sprint could be getting the device as well.

One XDA member found a Sprint device profile for a device, SPH-L900 whose specs match up to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

The member claims to have some other undisclosed information linking the nation’s third largest carrier to Samsung’s phablet sequel.

The specifications listed for the SPH-L900 include Exynos 4412 processor, a 1280 x 720 resolution display and Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. There is support for EVDO, DOrA, WiFi and LTE and had a 2 GB RAM. There is 16 GB HDD with expansion slot up to 32 GB and also an 8MP camera.

All these specifications are similar to what we earlier heard about the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 .
