Review: Umeox X5

Umeox, one of the youngest smartphone manufacturers, is taking on big names in the ring in its bid to snatch the crown as the world’s thinnest smartphone. It is not an easy task to become a brand for an upcoming and young manufacturer. But now Umeox has found a well charted out path. It has indeed manufactured the world’s thinnest 5.6 mm Android phone, christened the Umeox 5.

Snaps of this device have leaked online, and from the pictures we believe that this one is yet another strong Android contender in the crowded marketplace.

Umeox already has a range of Android phones under their belt. Many of them are on sale in Europe under the Thomson Mobile phone brand and they feature innovative technicolor imaging technology.

Umeox continues with its innovations and we need to expect that the new device has all in it to bring out the best in this highly competitive field.

The Umeox 5 is a 5.6 mm thick Android phone with dimensions of 118 x 60 x 5.6 mm. That indeed is thinner than the Huawei’s P6. We just have started hunting for the other hardware specs.

The Android variant is 4.2 Jelly Bean. The release has been set for July. Going by what we see in the pictures, we need to say that the device  could amaze other players big time.
