The tablet features 1GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory. On connectivity front, it supports WiFi and Bluetooth. The tablet has a 0.3-megapixel front camera for video chat or self portraits purposes. And there is a 2-megapixel camera on the back, but doesn’t come with a flash.

The tablet ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is preloaded with the Google Play Store which allows access to hundreds of thousands of Android apps.

The tablet measures 9.6 x 6.7 x 0.4 inch and features an array of ports and buttons such as Chrome power and volume buttons. There is a MicroUSB port, a MicroSD card slot, a headset jack power jack and a built-in microphone on its bezel. On the back of the tablet you’ll find a single speaker which delivers clear sound but not loud. The battery of the Ramos W42 promises about 7 hours of battery life.

The Ramos W42 is a budget friendly tablet that offers good performance. But the touchscreen isn’t responsive at some times and the device also lacks HDMI output. On the other hand, the Ramos W42 is useful for reading ebooks,  browsing, playing videos and gaming.
