Review: Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE

Samsung’s Galaxy Victory 4G LTE is a budget friendly device that packs very useful features.

It is a budget device and therefore has nothing  sleek or stylish. The device comes with a silvery finish and holds touch screen navigation buttons. It is a 0.5 inch thick device that weighs 4.9 oz.

The 4 inch LCD touch screen display comes with an 800 x 480 pixel resolution that is perfect for the screen size. Samsung has added a dedicated camera button on the device. The power button and headset jack are located on the top of the device.

The device comes with two cameras, a 5 megapixel rear shooter and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. The pictures taken by the camera are not uniformly sharp and the color looks dull. But the device includes plenty of camera apps like panorama and smile shot modes.

The Victory comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich along with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. It provides a number of customization options like changing lock screen shortcut options and access to system controls from the notification bar.

On the connectivity front, the device supports NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS. The device also features a browser, a music player, a calculator, and a calendar along with several Samsung and Sprint apps.

Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE is a good Android device but for the same price, you can get better choices on the market.
