Review: Pantech Flex

Pantech Flex is a mid range smartphone from Pantech that has been launched last month. Though a mid range smartphone, the device features some nice high end specs.

The device comes with solid hardware and sports a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED Advanced display. It lacks any capacitive or physical navigation buttons.

On the left edge of the device there is a volume controller and the top of the device houses a 3.5mm headphone jack. A power button is located in the centre of the right edge.

On the back, there is an 8-megapixel camera, LED flash and a loud speaker. The rubberized pieces on the back of the device make it very easy to hold.

Pantech Flex runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Krait processor and Adreno 225.

This mid range smartphone also holds a 1,830mAh battery and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. Pantech Flex is available at $50 with a two-year agreement.

Pantech Flex offers a decent display, good processor, LTE speed and moderate battery life but the software is complicated and confusing. Poor camera performance and the 8GB built-in storage are the other disadvantages.
