Review: Logitech Wireless Touchpad T650

Logitech’s wireless TouchPad T 650 is made up of a smooth gray slab of matte glass which is integrated with left and right buttons. The base of the touchpad consists of matte gray plastic. The short legs that are located on each corner of the touchpad keeps the unit firmly in place.

You can see an on/off switch on the right side of the T650 and a microUSB port on the rear edge. An indicator light is located at the top right-hand corner and it turns green when fully charged.

The Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650 is significantly larger than any touchpad now available. It measures 5.1 x 5.3 x 0.3- inch and weighs 7.3 ounces.

The T650 supports most of the gestures were easy to pull off. The upward three-finger swipe lets you switch back and forth between the Modern UI and the desktop. Where as a downward three-finger swipe minimize/maximize all windows.

Swiping inward from the left edge activates the Task Switcher and the inward swiping from the right edge opens the Charms menu. The left or right swiping with four fingers using a Windows 8 app helps to dock it to the left or right side of the display.

On a single charge the battery of the T650 can last for up to a month.


At $59.59, the Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650 is an excellent pointing device for your laptop or PC. The glass surface and large dimensions make it very comfortable to use. The gestures perform well with Windows 8.
