Review: LG Spectrum 2

LG Spectrum 2 is a mid-range device with decent features and an affordable price. LG Optimus LTE II that had been released in Korea earlier this year is the base model of Spectrum 2. LG and Verizon have made a few changes for the new version and now the device is available on Verizon for $99.

The phone sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core chip and a 1GB of RAM. The 16 GB of internal storage can be expandable with a microSD card slot.

The 4.7 inch 720p HD IPS display has a pixel density of 312 ppi, which offers great touch responsive, and the viewing angles. Text, images, and HD video were sharp and crystal clear. The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with LG Optimus UI.

It supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G LTE along with NFC and wireless charging capabilities.

The Spectrum 2’s has an 8 megapixel rear camera that’s capable of shooting full 1080p HD video and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing VGA camera for video chatting.

The device comes with a big 2150mAh battery that will provide over 10 hours of talk time and almost 20 days of standby time.

LG Spectrum 2 is a powerful device with good display and performance and it is worth every penny.
