Review: LG Optimus 4X HD

Optimus 4X HD is the new smartphone device from LG and it is believed to be the successor to the Optimus 2X.

The phone is large with its 4.7-inch display on-board, but is comfortable to hold due to its rubberized and textured back. Two silver stripes run on the edge of the smartphone.

A power button and a 3.5mm headset jack are located at the top of the device where as the Micro USB port is provided at the bottom of the device.

The LCD is very close to the and glass therefore the device promises good picture quality with better viewing angles, improved outdoor viewability, excellent power efficiency and stronger color reproduction.

On the software side the device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich and powered by 1.5 GHz quad core Tegra 3 processor. The 8 megapixel rear camera comes with autofocus and LED flash. It features geo-tagging, face and smile detection, touch focus and image stabilization.


LG Optimus 4X is a strong device with excellent performance, good software and gorgeous design.
