Review: Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13

The new Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 is a laptop/tablet device comes with Windows 8. The device can have four basic usable positions — clamshell laptop, tablet, stand, and tent.

This 13.3 inch display device can be folded back into a slate, with the keyboard pointing out from the back of the system. You can deactivate the keyboard and touch pad in this mode.

The Yoga also supports a pair of USB ports, one 3.0, one 2.0, and an HDMI port. The device has a combo audio jack, and an SD card slot. On the connectivity front, it supports Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth but it lacks an optical drive.

Verdict

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 is a device that promises all the traditional laptop experience but the tablet mode leaves the keyboard exposed.
