Review: Lemon A4

Lemon Mobiles has announced the launch of its new smartphone named A4. The device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and is the company’s first full HD display smartphone. It now becomes the cheapest available 1080p display smartphone in the Indian market after being priced at Rs. 17,999. The rig, thereby, also puts immense pressure on budget phablets that come with 720p display.

Lemon A4

Lemon A4 is powered with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and features a 5-inch 1920x1080p display, 13 MP rear shooter and 5MP front camera. A4 is 8.5 mm thick and features 3D Magnetic/ 3D Gyro/ Proximity/ Accelerometer/ Light sensors.

It also comes with 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD up to 64 GB, HDMI/MHL out. It is accessible via Wi-Fi, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. These specifications do justice to the price that it carries.

Verdict: The only major concern is regarding battery life, with mere 1850mAh on-board to run a big display. We think it wouldn’t last for even 24 hours.
