Review: iPad mini

iPad mini, the new addition to the Apple brand, comes with enough power and brilliant design. Don’t consider it as a shrunken down iPad, with its new 7.9 inch design. It is entirely a new product from Apple.

With iPad mini Apple has intended to develop a smaller and more portable iPad which within an affordable price. iPad mini is the cheapest iPad but not the cheapest tablet device in the market.

Though iPad mini is slightly larger than other 7 inch tablet devices but still it is thinner than its rivals the Nexus 7 and the Kindle HD. The 7.9 inch iPad mini offers the 1024 x 768 resolution.

Apple has introduced the device in two versions a Wi-Fi – only version, and an LTE version as well. The device battery is claims a 10-hour battery life.

The pricing for the device is as follows, $329 for a 16GB WiFi, $429 (32GB, WiFi), $519 (64GB WiFi) and the LTE versions are available at a slightly larger price rate.

Verdict

If you want to buy the cheapest iPad, then go for it. But otherwise if watching movies, listening to music and basic email and web browsing are your key interests, then you could get a better one in this price.
