Review: HTC Droid DNA

HTC Droid DNA is a stunning device with very high speed performance. This beautifully designed device sports a 5 inch 1080p Super LCD 3 display which is better than any other smartphone on the market and has a 440ppi pixel density.

The surprises are not limited only to its display the other specifications are impressive too like the Qualcomm’s  quadcore 1.5GHz APQ8064 Snapdragon S4 Pro processor that is paired with 2GB of RAM.

The device has a black chassis with some red detailing. The plastic made body is impressive and it has a 141 x 70.5 x 9.73 mm casing.

HTC is included two notification LEDs, there’s more chance of you spotting when an alert comes in.

Like other high end devices Droid DNA has two cameras. An 8-megapixel main camera has the f/2.0 aperture, 28mm lens and 1080p Full HD video recording and the front-facing 2.1-megapixel camera with 88-degree wide angle lens for fitting more people into group shots.

No need to say that Droid DNA comes with Beats Audio but it has two amplifiers for the headphone socket and the internal speaker, therefore it produce loud sound.

On connectivity you can expect everything from Verizon’s 4G LTE, CDMA EVDO and quadband GSM/EDGE for outside of theUS. The carrier has preloaded the device with a microSIM. It also supports WiFi a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.0, along with NFC and wireless charging.

Verdict

Droid DNA is the best device from HTC and also the best device in Verizon network. It is stylish, smart, fast and at $ 199 better than its competitor. But the absence of microSD slot and a non-removable battery will make its customers unhappy.
