Review: HP ENVY Spectre XT

The ENVY Spectre XT is a new stylish Ultrabook from HP. It has an attracting design and comes with a minimalistic look.

A power jack, a USB 3.0 port, an SD card slot and a headphone jack are provided on the right side of the device. On the left, there is an Ethernet port, full-sized HDMI port and another USB 3.0 port.

Though the design of the device looks stylish, it is somewhat fragile. The screen is attached to the rest of the unit by two hinges. So you need to handle the device with more care, as a simple accident or case of negligence can destroy the device.

The Spectre XT is powered with an Intel Core i5 processor withIvyBridgemicroarchitecture and clocked at 1.7GHz. It is pretty fast.

The device’s backlighting is great and vibrant and it lights up each key individually, so that you can use this ultrabook anywhere at anytime.

The device is preloaded with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) operating system.

Verdict

The HP ENVY Spectre XT   is a pretty solid ultrabook and you won’t be disappointed for picking this one.
