Review: BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 Smartphones

Research in Motion (RIM) finally launched its BlackBerry 10 devices the BlackBerry Z10 and the BlackBerry Q10 . This is not the first time BlackBerry is introducing a touchscreen device but earlier versions failed to compete  with the iPhones and Android products. But the new smarphone devices from BlackBerry could take on the Android and iOS handsets.

The first device – BlackBerry Z10 – is an all touch device with a 4.2 inch screen and 1280 x 768 display. It comes with a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and the latest BlackBerry 10 OS.

The device shows good typing performance with improved accuracy. If a user hits off the edge of a particular letter, the system will eventually adjusts its strike zones to accommodate this. The company introduced the feature named BlackBerry Flow that allows moving in and out of applications with ease.

The advanced BlackBerry Messenger includes video which allows the users to move from chat to video and a new feature in BlackBerry Messenger lets its users to share screens.

Meanwhile, the second device dubbed the BlackBerry Q10, has a QWERTY keyboard and comes with 3.1-inch screen, but keeps the touchscreen experience.

Well, the company has finally succeeded in building a high end touchscreen smartphone with a responsive and smooth OS. But still we feel that BlackBerry 10 is little late to the market that is dominated by Android and iOS.
