Review: AT&T LG Optimus G

Optimus G, the latest  device from LG, is now available in the US through carrier AT&T. The device has a smart and sleek design with straight lines and small rounded corners.

The glass panel houses the 4.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 768 X 1280 pixels and it offers 318 ppi.

The left and right side of the device are made of plastic with a gunmetal grey flossy finish. The volume key is located on the left side along with micro SIM and micro SD card slots.

LG’s Optimus G is the first 4G LTE device in the US market sporting Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor and it delivers high fast performance.

Under the hood, it has a 16 GB of internal storage along with a 16 GB micro SD card pre-installed. The Optimus G also comes with 2 GB of RAM and supports WiFi, WiFi Direct, Miracast, NFC, and Bluetooth.

On the OS side, the device runs  Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and includes some smart software features .

Optimus G comes with two cameras a front-facing camera for self-portraits and video chat along with an 8-megapixel rear camera.

Optimus G is a very fast device with beautiful design and display. But the camera didn’t seem to work well in all situations.
