LG Intuition: Smart and Friendly

LG Intuition, the phablet from LG, has been first revealed earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona as the Optimus Vu. Verizon and LG have now joined hands to bring the device in the market.

The Intuition comes with a Rubberdium Pen that works with any capacitive display-toting device. It features a 5-inch IPS XGA 650-nit bright display with 4:3 display ratio that is similar to the first iPad.

LG promises a 1GB of RAM inside alongside a dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The Snapdragon S3 is capable to provide multitasking facilities.

LG Splendor Android ICS Smartphone Hops On to US Cellular Network

Splendor, the mid range smartphone from LG, has arrived in the US cellular network, and is currently available for you to pick from the carrier’s website and in retail stores.

The device, which runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, features a 4.3 inch screen and is powered by a 1 GHz single-core processor. The device comes with 2GB of inbuilt memory and LG has included a 4GB micro SD card that is expandable up to 32 GB.

LG is also offering a 5-megapixel rear end camera and a VGA front facing camera for video chatting.

The device is available at a reasonable price of $79.99 with a $100 mail-in rebate and two-year contract.

LG Optimus L9 Smartphone Ready to Take on Rivals

It looks like LG is ready for the race. The company has just announced another new smartphone christened Optimus L9. The Optimus L9 sports a 4.7 inch IPS display and powered by a 1GHz dual core processor.

Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich this device features a 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash and VGA front end camera.

1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a 2,150 mAh battery are the other specifications of the Optimus L9.

Apart from all these specifications, this device features LG’s new QTranslator app. This can translate words and sentences from 44 different source languages to more than 60 user languages using optical character recognition technology.

LG Teases Upcoming Smartphone on New Website

Phonemaker LG and chip designer Qualcomm are teasing an upcoming quad-core smartphone designed to take on the Samsung Galaxy SIII.

With the IFA going to kickoff in Germany next week, LG has confirmed their devices by creating a new website that talks about a new phone. This new phone is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor along with a quad-core chipset, supposedly unparalleled in the world of mobile computing.

LG released a video promoting the Optimus 4X HD successor it was revealed that the smartphone will feature the second generation of Qualcomm’s quad-core processor called the Snapdragon S4 chip with an Adreno 320 graphics processor.

Looks Like LG Optimus Black is Getting Android 4.0

LG’s customers have always been in the dark – well, almost – about the OS updates for their smartphones. Some time ago, the company had announced Ice Cream Sandwich updates for both the devices Optimus 2X and Optimus Black.

But later denied this saying that ICS updates were only for the Optimus 2X, and the update was limited to South Korea.

As of now there are a bunch of confusing messages available with regard to the update. They seldom provide any specific detail on the whole.

Latest rumors suggest that the LG Optimus Black will soon come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgradable stickers.

LG QuickMemo Feature Coming to Optimus L Models

We have some happy news to share if you are a user of the LG Optimus L. The company has decided to include its QuickMemo feature in its smartphones.

The feature will be made available in the entire line of Optimus L-Series smartphones through a maintenance release upgrade.

Initially, it will be available only in limited regions, but will go global by the end of the 3rd quarter.

One of the stunning aspects about LG’s QuickMemo feature is that it allows you to capture whatever content you come across on the screen, including web pages, graphics, photos and videos.

LG Optimus 4X HD Looks to Rule; Comes Across as a Pretty Good Phone

LG has not tasted great success of late, when compared with Samsung and HTC. With the LG Optimus 4X HD, the Korean company is going to come back with a bang in the Android market.

The LG Optimus 4X HD has a textured white plastic rear and the buttons are conventionally placed, with the power and standby on the top and the volume rocker on the left-hand side.

At the bottom, there is a microUSB that supports MHL, so one can still hook up to a large display with the right kind of cable. The handset measures 132.4 x 68.1 x 8.9mm, and it’s pretty average for a 4.7-inch device and it weighs 141g.

The 4.7-inches of the display put the 4X HD at the top of the Android smartphone pile and have a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

LG Optimus LTE II Looks to Pip Galaxy SIII; Verizon Unveils Optimus Device as LG VS930

LG has been toiling over  the past few nights to come up with a phone that could turn the tables for them.

As the strongest competitor in the high end division is the Galaxy SIII, they did plan to out run the Sammy device and the outcome is the LG Optimus LTE II aka VS930.

Verizon introduced this model and is calling it the VS930. Whatever the name, the specs looks very promising.

LG Quad Core Smart Phone with 10 Megapixel Camera Being Readied

Though LG launched its Optimum 4x HD with much hopes, it trailed when HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III was released.

The European edition of these phones featured quad core processors and 8 megapixel cameras just like the 4X HD, but it has better construction and software customization. LGs Chairman and CEO Koo Boo-moo isn’t satisfied and is planning on a new phone that will feature a 10 megapixel camera.

He seems to be not satisfied that LG did not make full use of its technology resources and will be including it all in the new device.

Virgin Mobile Joins Bell in LG Optimus L5 Roll Out

LG Optimus smartphones are getting larger in numbers and the latest addition to this series is the L5.

The phone which was supposed to have had a launch in theUKonly onBellhas changed its route and it looks like Virgin Mobile will also be joining in with the L5.

Bell has scheduled July 13th to be the L5 debut day. Virgin’s inventory system reveals that this phone will be soon accompanying its products line.

There is no info about the launch date from Virgin, though the pricing will most probably around $249.99.

LG has already announced that the phone would come with dual SIM capabilities in certain markets such as Asia, CIS, Middle East, Central and South America and NFC “Tag & Play “support in Europe and North America for Mobile payment and sharing.
