Nokia Lumia 625 Now Official

After a series of leaks that brought to the fore images and specifications of the Lumia 625, Nokia has finally made the device official. The announcement comes after a fortnight of Nokia’s Lumia 1020 41 MP camera phone emerging in New York during the beginning of this month.

The latest Lumia phone from Nokia comes with a large screen size and will take the title of Nokia’s largest Lumia device.

Nokia Lumia 625 is a budget device which runs on Windows 8 OS. It flaunts a 4.7-inch Gorilla Glass 2 800x480IPS LCD display. Despite its large size, Lumia 625 weighs only 158g, which is a gram less than the weight of Nokia 1020. Comparatively lighter than other recent Nokia devices, the internal specs are not something to be boasted about as it is a mid-range phone.

The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and packs 512 MB of RAM. The device mounts a 5MP rear snapper and a VGA front facing camera.

As expected, it is preloaded with numerous dedicated apps from Nokia. There is 8GB of memory storage, which can be expanded via microSD up to 64GB. There is also 7GB of SkyDrive cloud storage that comes free of cost.

The powerhouse of the device is a 2,00mAh battery which the company claims to offer 15 hours of battery life. The phone also features an LTE 4G variant with support for a number of bandwidths and is accessible to Bluetooth4.0.

The Lumia 625 comes in colors of orange, green, yellow, white and black.
