Nokia Glory to Come Sporting Win Phone 7.8 OS

The next few days would of course be important for Nokia, as the company is preparing to launch their Windows Phone 8 devices – the Lumia 820 and 920 – on September 5th.

And, obviously these Windows 8 devices have been gathering all the focus. But now it seems that Nokia is planning to launch a new device very soon and it would come preloaded with Windows Phone 7.8 instead of Windows Phone 8.

The new device, which is said to be codenamed Glory, may include a 4 inch display. The gadget is considered to be the successor of Nokia’s low end model Lumia 610 and will sport an 800 MHz processor with 256 MB of RAM.

The other specification details are not available yet, but it would be similar to those found in other low-end Windows phones.

Well, we don’t think Nokia is going to unveil the device at an upcoming event where the company is expected to launch its new Windows 8 devices.

The rumors can’t confirm the release date of new Windows 7 device, but it is likely to launch during the holiday season.

This new step from Nokia gives an impression that the Finnish company is planning to sell the low-end Windows 7 devices along with the powerful Windows 8 devices like Lumia 820 and 920.
