Nokia Asha 210 With Facebook Button Comes to India for Rs 4,499

The Nokia Asha 210 with a dedicated Facebook button is now up for pre-order in India. Apsrt from the dedicated Facebook key, the phone also carries along a WhatsApp button. The two versions are likely to start shipping from the second week of July.

The Finnish manufacturer has made provisions for using two GSM SIM cards at a time. Apart from black and white color options, the Nokia Asha 210 will be available in cyan, magenta and yellow shades.

The device measures 60×111.5×11.8 mm and weighs 99.5 grams. The device runs on the company’s Series 40 OS. The device features a 2.4-inch LCD transmissive screen of 320×240 pixel resolution.

The brightness of the screen can be adjusted as per the user’s comfort. The gadget features a full QWERTY keypad. The device is packed with 32MB RAM and features 32 MB onboard memory, which can be further expanded up to 64 GB via microSD.

The phone is pre-installed with the Xpress browser for internet access and potential buyers can check mail and add updates on social networking sites. Features like VoIP, call divert, speed dial and conference call support are loaded in the device.

A 2MP fixed focus camera with 4x digital zoom and ability to record videos at the rate of 10 frames per second, is mounted on the rear. A USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack is also embedded on this WI-Fi accessible gadget.

The power for running this device comes from a 1200mAh battery and promises 12 hours of talktime on 2G.

The Asha 210 will be available from July at a price of Rs. 4,499.
