Nokia 105 Prepares to Launch in India in April for Rs 1249

With its Windows Phone based Lumia lineup, Nokia is trying hard to get a firm grip over the mobile phone market. At the beginning of 2013, the Finnish manufacturer unveiled two new handsets named Nokia 105 and Nokia 310 along with its high end smartphones Lumia 520 and Lumia 720.

According to reports, the entry level handset Nokia 105 is all set to launch in India with a price tag of Rs, 1,249.

Nokia is planning to phase out its black and white display handsets from its product category and the Nokia 105 is the device that marks an end to the black and white screens.

This entry level handset sports a 1.45-inch LCD display and includes an 8MB mass memory, FM Radio and an 800 mAh Li-ion battery with 35 days standby and 12.5 hours talk time. The handset holds a flashlight but lacks connectivity and camera features. The Nokia 105 handset will be in the market by the end of this month.

Nokia is looking at India, Africa and China, where there is a huge market for entry-level handsets.
