Motorola Droid RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD Arriving in the US on Oct 18th

Verizon has officially announced that both the Droid RAZR HD and the RAZR MAXX HD smartphones will be launched on October 18th in theUS. Time to fetch the gadget is now close at hand. Screen protectors designed for the Droid RAZR HD were already on display in Verizon stores. The new smartphones will be running on Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

While Droid RAZR HD is priced $199, RAZR MAXX HD will be available at a higher price of $299 as it includes more storage space. Some of the main differences are that Droid RAZR HD comes with a 16 GB memory when RAZR MAXX HD comes with a 32 GB memory.

The MAXX edition also offers a much longer battery life up to 32 hours with a 3300 mAh battery. This makes it clear enough why the price difference.

Both the Droid RAZR HD and the RAZR MAXX HD are propelled by an 1.5 GHz dual-core-system on a chip. Both are stuffed with 1 GB RAM, NFC, Bluetooth, 8 MP rear camera, front camera and micro-SD card slot for extra storage. The list goes much further.

Grasping our attention with the large 4.7 inch high-definition touchscreen display, both of these Motorola boys are about to compete with iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3. But to get more sales, the Droid RAZR HD and the RAZR MAXX HD must get the promised Android Jelly Bean update before the Galaxy Note II gets the crowds.
