Micromax Canvas 4 Teaser Videos Surface; Pre-Order Starts on June 28

If you would remember, Micromax had in January announced that it will launch 30 smartphones this year. Looks like the company is now keep the new models coming. Micromax has now posted two teaser videos of its upcoming handset, called Canvas 4.


The videos appear on its official YouTube channel with tagline “Can Life Be Endless,” and display a smartphone with a sleek body and 13 MP camera.

The teaser also discloses that pre-bookings for the smart device would kick-start on June 28. The company’s earlier devices were Canvas HD, Canvas 3D, Canvas Music, Bolt A35 and Canvas Viva.

The upcoming Micromax Canvas 4 is likely to be an update to the popular Canvas HD smartphone and is expected to feature an eight-core processor, like the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Micromax, which is looking to grab the spot of the largest phone seller spot in India, has in its array a diverse range of devices available at affordable prices. In January, the company claimed to have shipped 1.98 lakh phablets in Q4 2012, outdoing Samsung which sold 1.89 lakh units.

The performance graph of its entry-level Canvas 2 A110 and mid-range Canvas HD A116 phablets are showing good growth. The much popular Canvas HD is sold out in many stores, making buyers to wait for at least two weeks. We just need to wait to know how well the Canvas 4 fares.
