Micromax A115 Canvas 3D Images Appear Online

Indian mobile manufacturing firm Micromax is reportedly working on a new smartphone under its Canvas line-up. @MMXNewscaster, a trusted source for Micromax news, recently posted the images of the Canvas 3D handset on Twitter.


The leaked images show a handset with a model number Mircomax A116 and also shows the baseband version and kernel version of the handset.

The Micromax A115 HD would come with a 5-inch WVGA screen that has a pixel resolution of 480×800. The device will include 1 GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front camera.

The handset will be powered by a dual core MediaTek MT6577 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. The device also packs 4GB of internal memory. Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation on the release date and the pricing details of the Micromax A116.

Recently, global telecom giant Ericsson has filed a complaint against Micromax over patent infringement. Micromax is in talks with Ericsson in order to solve the issue.
