LG Splendor Android ICS Smartphone Hops On to US Cellular Network

Splendor, the mid range smartphone from LG, has arrived in the US cellular network, and is currently available for you to pick from the carrier’s website and in retail stores.

The device, which runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, features a 4.3 inch screen and is powered by a 1 GHz single-core processor. The device comes with 2GB of inbuilt memory and LG has included a 4GB micro SD card that is expandable up to 32 GB.

LG is also offering a 5-megapixel rear end camera and a VGA front facing camera for video chatting.

The device is available at a reasonable price of $79.99 with a $100 mail-in rebate and two-year contract.

LG also offers LG’s SmartShare DLNA media software and its QuickMemo app for detailed screenshots and photos in LG Splendor.

The device is preloaded with a number of Amazon applications like Audible, IMDb, Amazon Kindle, Amazon MP3, Amazon Shopping, and Zappos.

It also include features such as Google Play support, Polaris Office, Let’s Go Bowling! and Your Navigator Deluxe.

Though the device  specifications are not so interesting, the LG Splendor is definitely a good one to pick for a budget conscious customer.  What do you think?
