LG Optimus G Pro Set to Release in India this June

LG first introduced its Optimus G Pro handset at the MWC this year along with its 55-inch OLED TV and a photo printer. The 5.5-inch massive handset is now heading towards the Indian market.

During their Tech Show 2013 in Delhi, LG confirmed the Optimus G Pro release within months. The Optimus G Pro is a high end smartphone device that comes with a 5.5-inch full HD IPS monitor and the latest version of Android Jelly Bean.


The smartphone is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7GHz. It also includes 2GB of DDR RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front shooter.

The Optimus G Pro also includes a 3,140mAh Li-ion battery and supports connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 as well as NFC.

The handset measures 150.2x 76.1x 94-mm in dimensions and weighs 172-gram.

The Optimus G Pro is currently available in Japan and in India it will arrive on June or July for around Rs. 40,000.
