We have heard rumors about LG’s Optimus LTE 3, the successor of the Optimus LTE 2. The  handset has now launched in Korea. Surprisingly, it is the same Optimus F7 smartphone that was introduced by the company at the MWC event last month.

The Optimus LTE3 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and holds 2GB RAM. The 8 megapixel rear camera on the phone comes with LED flash and auto focus.

The company has also included a 1.3 megapixel front shooter for video chatting. The 8GB of internal memory is expandable up to 32GB using the micro SD.

On connectivity front, it supports LTE / HSPA +, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC.

This 134 gram weighing handset is powered by a 2,540mAh battery and bears a price tag of $553. The black and white version of the LG Optimus LTE 3 would go on sale in Korea from this month and SK Telekom will bring the device for sale.
