LG Nexus May Release in October

Rumors are rife yet again about the LG Optimus G Nexus. According to the latest rumor the next Google’s Nexus phone may be from LG and the device is all set for an official announcement later this month.

The rumored device sports a lot of similarities with LG’s Optimus G, but it would launch without the sharp corners.

The Optimus G Nexus sports a 4.7 inch display with 1280 x 768 True HD IPS display and it may come with the same dimensions as its predecessor.

Under the hood, the LG Nexus phone sports a quad core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM and large memory 8GB and 16GB versions only.

The LG handset further sports an 8 megapixel rear camera and a front camera. But the device lacks a microSD slot for memory expansion.

You might know, each new Nexus phone had come with the latest Android version. Even last year’s Galaxy Nexus had come with Android 4.0 ICS.

But this time there is no chance for such an update, because Google has already launched the Nexus 7 with new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. Therefore, this next Nexus device is expected to launch only with a slight Jelly Bean update, possibly the Android 4.2.

Though the rumors about the LG Nexus  are circulating since February, but both the companies haven’t yet confirmed this rumor.
