Lenovo Lephone K860 Phablet to Come to China Initially

Lenovo has announced their new phablet smartphone for China. The Lephone K860, also known as Lenovo Music Phone, is being rolled out by the company in a bid to try their luck in the phablet world.

Samsung and LG already rule the phablet market with their devices named Samsung Galaxy Note and LG’s Optimus Vu. May be Lenovo is aiming to be a worthy rival on that arena.

The device comes with a five-inch display and 1,280×720 HD resolution. It looks smaller than Galaxy Note.

The Lephone features two cameras with a two megapixel front end camera and an eight megapixel rear end camera that supports 100 continuous shots and recording at 1080p.

The other specifications available are a quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos processor with 1GB of RAM and a Mali-400MP GPU.

Compared with the previous models, Lephone’s GPU reduces power consumption. The device offers a 2,250 mAh battery and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

As far as we know, the device is only available inChinaat the moment. We think Lenovo has plans to vend the device inChinabefore the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy Note2.

The device is also known as Music Phone, may be this is due to any special apps like Music Sync and Music Voice installed in the device. Altogether the new phablet’s design and specifications look great.

Well folks, what do you think about Lenovo’s new device?
