HTC Windows Phone 8 Smartphones Unveiled

As you all know, HTC managed to conquer markets in Asia and China, but then, sales declined rapidly in Europe and the US. HTC has unveiled two new Windows Phone 8 (WP8) smartphones on Wednesday as an attempt to bring back their once-dominant position in the mobile market. It will be the signature devices for HTC’s upcoming Windows Phone 8 OS.

The two new WP8 handsets will be called Windows Phone 8X and Windows Phone 8S. The Windows Phone 8x is powered by Qualcomm’s S4 dual-core 1.5GHz processor.

It has a 4.3-inch high-definition super LCD 2 screen using Gorilla Glass 2. The device has two high-power audio amplifiers that lodge the speaker and 3.5mm stereo headset jack.

The product also has an 8 megapixel CMOS image sensor and f/2.0 aperture. Windows Phone 8S is powered by Qualcomm’s S4 dual-core 1GHz processor and has a 4-inch super LCD screen with Gorilla Glass.

The product packs a 5 megapixel camera. Both the smartphones will support LTE network.

The handsets will be available through 150 mobile operators in 50 countries. In the US, you can get the device from AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.

The pricing details are not yet revealed.
