HTC One Mini Smartphone Teased

A mini version of the HTC One smartphone has been shown off as a teaser in the form of a picture of the device inside a small pocket. Called the HTC One Mini, it features a 720p, 4.3-inch screen and is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor.


Packing 1GB of DDR2 RAM and 16GB of memory storage capacity, the device carries along the HTC UltraPixel camera and a 1.6 MP front facing camera. Built to support 4G LTE networks, the Mini version is however less powerful than HTC One which flaunts a 4.7-inch 1080p HD screen and is powered by a quad-core 1.7 GHz processor.

Peter Chou, chief executive of HTC has bee quoted as saying that the HTC One Mini flaunts everything thing that makes HTC One a success on a smaller but equally eye-catching scale.

The company suggests that it will be available in some markets from next month and then globally by September. The company has not said how much it would cost.
